Loads of recipes to make your own marinade but for a quick, inexpensive midweek dinner using shop bought BBQ sauce makes life so much easier. Serve with baked potato and iceberg lettuce salad

2 kg chicken wings

100 ml BBQ sauce

1 tbsp honey

Preheat the oven to 200c Fan, line a baking tray with foil and lightly grease with vegetable oil.

If the wings tips, remove these and discard or save for stock. stretch the wing out on a chopping board and cut through the joint so you have a “wingette” and a “drumette”

Put the BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl, toss int he pieces of wings and coat completely. Spread the wing pieces onto the baking tray in a single layer. Place in the oven and cook for 40 minutes, turning the wings half way through.
