I love food; the sourcing, growing, preparation and presentation of great food. I also love entertaining. I started my home restaurant, The Secret Supper Society, over 13 years ago and have entertained many guests over the years. I’ve hosted weddings, private parties, Indian Nights, Spanish Evenings and even picnics in our garden.
I’ve hosted cooking classes for small groups in my own kitchen. Now I want to share my cooking talents with a wider audience and so have moved my classes online. You’ll still be able to chat with me and pick up useful tips – just from the comfort of your own kitchen.
When you book, I’ll send you a recipe card and prep sheet (complete with shopping list, equipment needed and set-up tips), so you can be ready to go when you log into the session via Zoom.
During the class, I’ll walk you through the recipe step-by-step and, with some classes, cook along with you, answering any questions you may have as we do so. I’ll share all the little tips and tricks I’ve discovered for myself, many of which you won’t find in the books, as well as useful advice on preparing dishes in advance and making some of the basic elements of many recipes.
My private classes are fun, relaxed and informal – you just have to pour yourself a glass of wine and join me online.
Classes are charged per person, so if you want to work as a team, with friends or family who live elsewhere, that’s fine, but each member will need their own booking.
