Many of my guests book months in advance, and I know things can change and the best laid plans sometimes have to be revised. Please do let me know as soon as possible if you need to change the number of guests or cancel your booking.
I need at least 3 days notice of any change in numbers so that I have a chance to change the quantities of the ingredients I order for the meal, and the number of dishes I prepare. If you have to cancel altogether, this also allows me time to offer your table to other guests on my waiting list.
I’m afraid that cancellations with less than 36 hours notice will have to be charged the full price agreed when the booking was made. Unlike a commercial restaurant, I buy ingredients and prepare meals for the number of guests that have booked and I don’t have any margins to cover these costs if my guests don’t come.
